Mandy's New Ride

From the website:
Unorthodox. Just one glance tells you the Element was built for those who live their own unique way. Some people have lots of places to go, tons of things to do and loads of essentials to take along. The Element takes functionality to the extreme so you can do whatever on your own terms. A deeper look reveals its tremendous utility. Wide-opening cargo doors let you load up from either flank. Or you can use the clamshell tailgate. A tall cargo hold and configure-it-64-ways seating gives you flexible freedom for almost anything you're up to. So pack it up, jump in, and live beyond the ordinary.

I don't know about taking "functionality to the extreme," but Elements are pretty sweet rides. And the orange is nice! I'll totally trade you my 97 Grand Am for it. :)

But it isn't aerodynamic, and it's sort of ugly. Sorry, but it is.

Sorry, Mandy. I didn't see that it belongs to you when I said that. I would never have criticized it had I known. You can feel free to whomp all over my T&C minivan, if you like.

No worrys, Kenju! I know that it's definately an "acquired taste". When it comes to the Element, you either love it or hate it. My best friend hates it, too, and I still love her. :-)

They're ugly but very useful, Diane. I was considering getting one a few years back but decided the wheelbase was just too short for my kayaks. I still think the Miata would have been perfect for you! Of course now the name's different and it's more expensive--but it still looks great.

I forgot to mention this yesterday, Diane: Congratulations!
