So you know, I keep a large wicker basket on my bathroom vanity to hold any toiletries I need for getting ready in the mornings. I find the basket not only looks pretty, but also makes it easy to grab things on those occasions when I am rushing to get to out of the house.
This morning, I could hardly believe the time when I finally opened my eyes and glanced over at the alarm clock. It was already 8:40, and I am supposed to be at work by 9am. On a normal morning, I leisurely amble downstairs, grab a cup of Joe, and take Charlie out to do his business, but (obviously) I couldn’t waste a second today. As my poor dog sat cross-legged, looking pitiful, I hopped in the shower for a cold, quick two minutes and then proceeded to the vanity. Five minutes later, I managed to have both my hair and make up in place. I just needed a touch of hairspray before dashing out the door.
In all my years of grabbing toiletries out of that wicker basket, I failed to notice just how much White Rain Hair Spray looks like Gillette Satin Care Lady Shave Gel. See for yourself.
Can you guess what happened next?

(snicker!)
Uh oh! I'll bet that set you back a few minutes.....LOL
Oh boy.. did you leave the house with spiky hair??? Oh you made me laugh so hard, trying to picture it.. I bet even the dog had a good laugh this morning.
Darn... there's coffee all over my desk now !
Sorry...
Well, as I recall, models use shaving cream to give their hair that dirty look so I guess you're just following their lead, Diane. I'm sure it's an interesting look--and what can anyone expect anyway? It's Monday. Nobody's firing on all cylinders on Monday.
So... what happened at the class reunion, Diane? I almost went to it also--but didn't want you to think I was a stalker!
Too funny! I still remembering my dad brushing his teeth with Preparation H.
Utenzi- I'm working on the reunion recap now, but I had half expected you to be there. You could have pretended to me one of my old classmates. I wouldn't have known any better.
Jan B - Oh my! I'd say your dad had it worse. Eeeew!
Ahaha! Oh man...so sorry, but that one cracked my shit UP! I was laughing WITH you, not AT you. ;o)
Hope you got to work on time! May I suggest you keep the shaving gel in the shower from now on?...
Can't wait to read about the reunion!
