Hangover, perhaps? Maybe not--when I go to things like that it's the noise that bothers me the most. But when in Germany, Oktoberfest is a must-do so it's good that you went, Diane.
I never wanted to go because I figured it would be too crowded, too expensive, and too many obnoxious drunks around. But it's still a good excuse to wear a Dirndl and as far as I'm concerned, that's pretty key. Dirndls are so cute. Every woman looks good in a Dirndl.

I feel your pain, Diane. It can be ghastly.
Still not too late for a some post wies'n cocktails in a quiet, civilised corner of Bogenhausen with Zurika and Headbang clans?
Totally agree....
LOL :)
I've never been there - but one time in my life I would like to see it...
Though if I didn't - I think I'd be ok.

Want to say why?
Nothing says autumn like a stein of apple juice.
lolol. I'm with Kenju...wanna say why? Do I take it off my list of stuff I gotta do before I croak?
Is it like a German speaking college spring break, or mardi gras without the paper machet heads?

it must've been the build-up...everyone raves about oktoberfest, right?

Dixie has hit it on the head!
Once is probably enough!
