Mixed Bag Monday

Max and I just returned from the good doctor's office for my 7th week appointment. Using ultrasound, he saw "good progress" and a heartbeat with one of the two embryos. And while he says I can begin to feel optimistic I will have one baby, the possibility for two looks unlikely.

I'm happy and thankful for the good progress of one, but will not give up on the hope for twins. No, not just yet.

Oh. :( That can't be easy information to hear. But it's not confirmed, so stay strong!

I'm not giving hope for you either.

Here's hoping that both embryos will turn into babies, but if not, you have so much to be thankful for with the possibility of one. What a wonderful gift to celebrate during this week of thanks. Hang in there chica!

Fingers, toes, eyes and legs crossed.. oh cancel the legs bit.. if you did that, you wouldn't be pregnant in the first place... leave the legs open.. oh not like that! Hey Max... stop making those weird lewd faces in the direction of that highly fertile and glowing woman...right, that's it.. I am leaving the room.. or better still.. you two - get a room! Good luck chicky...

you know what I have come to learn? Doctors aren't always right and they definately aren't god. Keep the faith. I know I have told you all about my mom's experience with twins and they are proof that miracles happen. I'll be praying for you guys.

When I was 6 wks prego they did not want to tell me it was Twins because they said that usually one of them vanishes. They call it the vanishing twin, I left that appointment and went to the Library to read up on it. 8 mos later I delivered Twins. Really it is in God's hands. I will remember all of you in my prayers. Don't worry be happy!!

What if they made a mistake and there's an extra hidden one and it's triplets? All the best and keep smiling.
