Oprah isn't the only one who has fallen off the weight-loss bandwagon. Like millions of Americans, I've made my resolution to shed those extra pounds through a combination of diet and exercise. And just to prove I was serious, I purchased something extraordinary, only found in the good U S of A, which was to guarantee I'd have fun, keep the motivation, and trim my waistline all at the same time.
Well, it seemed like a good idea when I was in the throes of making my New Year's resolutions.

Ok, so this isn't any more shameful than the powerplate knockoff I bought off La Redoute last year... but it is funnier !
How many muscles have you pulled? haha
Whatever gets you moving. And, it could be fun.
I bet you'll have the time of your life doing it too. Enjoy!
Diane... I got 2 words for you:
Wii Fit... HOLY CRAP is that hard and at the same time so worth it! The YOGA alone - TOTALLY.WORTH.IT.
And like your DVD, its fun and you break into a sweat BIG TIME.
We also bought Active Life Outdoor Challenge game and after jumping rope for 15 min, we were drench (Oh yeah I made EVERYONE jump rope!)
It always *seems* like a good idea! I'll have these moments when I realize that my ideas were good "in theory." But then I pick up that exercise DVD and notice the dust it has collected, and have to shake my head. Hope you are shaking your hips to this fun-looking DVD soon!
The main key to weight control is exercise as much as you can.
If you decide not to dance, you can just look at Max's picture. (swoon)
I can think of worse ways to exercise, like treadmills.
I remember how some of the athletes who competed on that show said it's one of the toughest workouts they've ever experienced. and we're talking ex-football players.
hey, you like dancing anyway and it beats jogging or going to the gym.
That looks like so much fun!
Love the new do! How do you like the video? I started doing Zumba classes this week...and I'm going for a massage on Saturday if that tells you anything =)
I've been away from your blog for a few weeks and had the chance this morning to catch up a bit. You've been through a great deal recently - you don't need me to remind you of that - I say it more as an acknowledgment and as a blessing. I think you will find Spain to be a good place for the two of you - I certainly hope that proves to be the case and wish you well.
Hah. If it makes you sweat..........
I say you and Max need to do your salsa thing! I second that whole beats the treadmill thing!
ooooh! I took a latin dance class last week and it kicked my butt!
