Help Make Me Over

Welcome to the all-new Martinis for Two with graphics provides by Amanda at 9 Lives Illustrations.

Know that construction is still taking place. I'm still playing with colors, graphics, and fonts, so there will be more modifications to come. Please consider the comments field of this post the official Martini Lounge “suggestion box. You're all my beta testers and best critics. How are things looking on your end? All feedback will be greatly appreciated.

This is the first time I’ve loaded my own template. So if you notice display problems in your various browsers and platforms, let me know. No doubt I.E.6 users will still see the side bar alignment problem, which I have yet to find a solution. If any of you more technically savvy bloggers have advice on how to fix this problem, I would certainly appreciate it. Based on my research, I do not believe the site images are causing the problem; rather it is the way the code renders in I.E.6. But, then again, who knows?

Whew! I love a new makeover, even if it is a virtual one. And there is more to come! In preparation for unemployment and the move to Europe, I am hoping to add a few new features to this site in the months to come. Stay tuned!

im not super keen on the browny tan back ground but seeing as it goes smashingly with everything else, I think its great!

I LOVE the new header!

I'm using firefox, whatever version, and the only thing out of whack a la side bar is the stat counter.

Right now, on firefox running on windows, it looks fine, excepts when you just display a single post, there are some visible html/blogger code around the comments link.

It's much easier on the eyes without the vertical lines and I think the background is greenish, which I like.

Nice job!

i dig it! i think the color is nice and it is much easier to read than the vertical pink lines. no problems here on formatting, another firefox user.

All great observations! Keep them coming please. I may not be able to get to all the correction before my trip, but I will work on it.

Dan E- vey funny!

Blue - I can't even see the stat counter? I added some code. Did it fix the problem?

Jamy - I would have never found that html error. Thanks! I corrected it.

June - Thanks for cathing the typo in the artwork. I've e-mailed Amanda and hope to have it rectified when I get back. PS. When you say the siebar is whacked, do you mean it is pushing shoved to the bottom?

I love the colors, Diane. They're similar to the ones I'm using on my blog after my makeover. You obviously have incredible taste! That reminds me of Chris for some reason...

There's no problems at all in my build of Firefox (I'm using their beta version, Gran Paradiso). Great job, Diane and Amanda!

I love the new look and don't see any problems here on my MacBook (Safari). I love the color and it's quite easy on the eyes.

One piece of the code is gone, but this line:

<$BlogCommentDelet\eIcon$>

is still showing up if you view the comments on the page (not in the pop up window).

Have a great trip!
