Podcast: Served up with a side of grits

Exactly how bad was it to leave a post about dog farts as the leading headline for three days? A busy weekend kept me from blogging, but today I decided to offer you a podcast instead of a post. In a recent comment, Dan-E told me this story was one of his favorites from my Martinis archive, and I happen to like it as well. It's been a while since I've created a podcast, and I thought this might make a nice feature. I hope you enjoy it, too.

If you have Quicktime, click here to listen to the 6 minute audio. And, please let me know what you think.

I loved it! My great grandfather immigrated to Nova Scotia from Greece. He had a grocery store where the tram conductors would drop newly arrived Greeks for assistance and shelter.

Your dad was an excellent student of human character. Few have the chutzpa , determination, and patience to accomplish what he did. Beautiful story.
