No, she didn't!

I am posting this photo (see the background story in the previous entry) because Meno said "please" and I'd hate to think what she'd do if I didn't keep my word.

It's my really terrible, albeit official, German photo. It's on every government document I have.

If you think you can stomach it, click here.

See, I don't think it's a horrible photo. I just don't think it really looks like you because you weren't smiling.

Thanks for sharing the photo. I will personally knock anyone on their ass that makes fun of it ;)

Not the worst ever, but I do love how the words on it make it look like you have some interesting highlights in your hair!

The photo is fine! Trust me...it could be worse. My first passport photo was horrible...luckily they kept it when they issued the new one :)

That's not so bad. MIne is a sight for sure. My son's (taken when he was 4) honestly he looks a bit like he's a government spy. He's got the determined no smile thing going on and a very stern look!
I think you should make a calling to all expats to post their pics, it'd be pretty funny!

That's not nearly as bad as you described, but you are much prettier than that!

Not bad. Honestly.

but not really you. ;)

OMG! I dream of taking a photo that "bad". Your eyes look beautiful!

Even a cut you don't like can't take away from your face, which really is beautiful! I think the cut is funky and very European. Embrace it for now, but if you don't love it in 3 weeks, stick with your plan to go back to the first salon. You might get to like the cut more eventually.

Your picture's not bad at all. You should see mine (which I would never post). A couple of weeks ago, the guy at the video rental looked at my picture and bluntly said, "Wow, that's you? You're actually beautiful in real life."

Too bad German driver's licenses are for life. I've actually thought about 'losing' mine just to get a new picture.

I wish I could be "cursed" with your beauty! No it may not be your best photo, but you are still a knock out!

I think you look gorgeous - seriously. You should see my passport/residence permit photo. Ughhh. I'm not at all photogenic anyway but it's just way off the radar.

Wanna compare ID pictures ? I'm positive I can beat you...

I think that's a pretty good ID photo. Really.

that's a cool photo. it makes you look very official somehow.

I agree with what most here say - it's a good photo, it's just not you.

I look like a crazy criminal oh my drivers liscense, when officials look at it they pause, look at me...and then they laugh! Seriously.

It's far from horrible!

A stunner through and through.

That's a bad photo? Seriously?

From your pictures here, I don't think you could take a bad one.

But you said you were posting a bad photo.

I was expecting something in line with the Nick Nolte mug shot. I would totally date you based on that photo, you know if I weren't married and into guys..

You practically have stars spinning out of your ear. What's not to love?

I have to agree with the commenters here. What's so hideous about that pic? So, yeah, everybody looks better in real life than in government pics, and I'm sure you do, but this one isn't anything to cry about. At least I think so.

I think it's a nice picture. :)
