Hope +1 Despair -0

Despite my doctors gloomy disposition during our last visit, my test results were good. We're still being very cautious, and I am seeing the doctor again Monday for another ultrasound. Keep those hopes pouring in! It seems to have helped me tremendously.

I'm off to Thessaloniki, Greece tomorrow to visit my aged aunt an uncle. Now my dilemma is to try to somehow keep my secret from them even though I won't be eating gobs of Feta or drinking any ouzo. How am I suppose to explain this bizarre change in my behavior. Suggestions?

Happy for you!

And I'd just tell them the truth. They will be supportive and send good strong family love toward you and the baby.

Also, a chance to take advantage of the wisdom of older women...

Hope Hope Hope - certainly NOTHING wrong with it. And I think positive attitudes and thoughts can make a huge difference in our lives and bodies.

Have a great trip and no idea on the cheese thing. I can never resist a good feta.

I would just like to point out my word verification string is: apecting

that's a sign I think because it's so close to expecting!

Ooh! What awesome news! I'll keep up the positive vibes!

If the truth is not a good idea - you could use medication as a good excuse.

I strongly believe in the power of positive thinking. Keep up the hopeful thoughts and I'll keep sending you good wishes from Philly.

As for drinking and eating, I'm always trying some new diet, I'd go with that. 'I'm trying this cleanse, no alcohol or cheese.' Lame?

The antibiotics excuse is good for alcohol...not sure about the cheese though. hmmm....

I recommend the truth. If it doesn't work out, your family will be there to love and support you.

Yeah! And there is always a stomach bug. Or, just not feeling well. Although- there really is no problem with Feta, that I know. It's not a soft cheese.

And yeah again! Have fun in Greece, but don't overexert. Remember to be mellow. And happy:)

I'll keep piping those thoughts in.

Tell them your sugar levels are slightly elevated and you have to lower them by not drinking.

Hope all goes well!
