Tis the...huh?

Most folks where I grew up didn't observe Advent, so I am, admittedly, not completely versed in the observance. I do know it's almost here and the stores have been selling the popular advent calendars since October.

In fact, I found this calendar in Globus and couldn't help but snap a photo of it. But somehow, I don't think it represents the significance of the occasion. Right?

You can also get beer Advent calendars with a can of beer for each day. That's the spirit! Or not. :-)

The Advent calendars i had growing up rewarded us with a daily square of chocolate. I wonder what's behind the doors on this one! :p
