Forget Mr. Clean
In Germany, the well-known, confident bald guy boasts an even better designation: Meister Proper!
Cute, no?

Tis the...huh?
In fact, I found this calendar in Globus and couldn't help but snap a photo of it. But somehow, I don't think it represents the significance of the occasion. Right?

A Farmer's Best Friend
I've mentioned dogs in my last two posts, so why not make it three for three?
This is a local wine producer making his rounds on his tractor with his constant sidekick, Stella. Sweet, no?

Autumn in the vineyards
In 600 A.D., the Romans planted the first grape vines in the Rhineland-Pfalz. And tucked away in today's vineyards, just a few hundred meters from my house, stands the remnants of an ancient Roman keller. I thought I'd offer a glimpse of what the fall looks like in my part of the world. Quite scenic, don't you think?

Ever notice?
Have you ever noticed how women will make great efforts to get ready, while men can just fall out of bed in the morning and still look good?
Apparently, this phenomenon starts very young.

Even though this little tyke wears an ice cream mustache, he still looks cute. Notice, though, his sister in the background. She went to the trouble to wear Dirndl, a traditional German dress, for the occasion. You'd think her brother could have bother to have worn his pants. Hmpf!

Read the fine print
This flyer was being passed out at the local farmers' market in Ramstein village. I found the clarification at the very bottom forthright and unique. What do you think? Have you ever seen this before?
