The Uh Oh, No He Didn't Awards!

This post is part of the Global World-Wide Virtual post Election Party. Please visit the bloggers at the sidebar for tributes, thoughts, videos, and more.

Campaign 2008 produced some of the most jaw-dropping moments of any in U.S. history. The election might be over and the winner pronounced, but there are many people, who earned a little notoriety during the longest campaign in history.

holy cow--who is Elisabeth Hasselbeck and why is she on television? I've never heard of her.

Brilliant list!

Did you hear that Joe the Plumber has hired himself a publicist and is looking at a book deal?

Why? The guy is a nobody!

I love the True ad! Was this seriously on TV in the States? It's so funny!

I'm giddy over the elections results but I could possibly be even more giddy if it would mean Elisabeth Hasselbeck would now just shut up.

Love your awards list!

LOL, LOL...These are quite wonderful! I came on over from Dianne's and I am so thrilled and excited and moved that WE Elected this wonderful Brilliant Intelligent Man: BARACK OBAMA!
I have a little tribute on my blog...This is truly the most Historic Election in my lifetime...And I am 77 years old. And the most moving, in every way...!

BRAVO TO US ALL....
And,
BRAVO TO OUR NEXT PRESIDENT,
BARACK OBAMA!

"This is the day we are given, Let us be glad and rejoice in it"

Amen, Amen!

I meant to say, also, that I didn't think Paris Hilton's little video was half bad....I liked that she thought enough to answer McCain on using her, and she did it with humor. No, I'm not a fan, but I wouldn't put her in the same category as Joe (Sam) The Plumber(not licensed)...Who, I think in my paranoi, was a McCain Plant from the get-go...!
Anyway....I agree with you on almost ALL of these, (You really called them...)and I love your last one to EH on The View! INDEED...'Just Shut Up Already, Elizabeth'...! (lol)
Maybe Elizabeth and Sarah, should have a joint show on FOX together....! OY!

Hi! Visiting from Ann Again and Again. These are AWESOME! My Faves: Sarah Palin as runner up as best Sarah Palin impersonator! HEE-LAY-REE-US! And the Just Shut Up Already award to Elizabeth Hasselbeck (UGH she annoys the crap out of me!!) I'd say Bill O'Reilly needs to get a close-runner up for that one. (Anyone else see him SCREAMING at Barney Frank? Just. Shut. UP!!!!)
Anyway, great post!

These are great, and I do agree with you on the Dole ad. I think it made her lose the election, since most people couldn't believe she'd stoop so low. Of course, she tried to make people think that's not what she meant......yeah, right!

This is awesome. I only have an opinion about #17. Elizabeth Hasselbitch is annoying and was very quiet today, which has not been the case for a long time, but Joy Behar is no less annoying in my book. If it wasn't for Whoopi and Sherri Shepard I wouldn not be able to tolerate the show at all. Did you see last weeks SNL? If not you should YouTube it. John McCain was funny if you can imagine that, but they did a really funny sketch of the view. Ben Affleck made the show if you ask me.

The Waz Up thing had me laughing. I loved it.

This is awesome! By the way, regarding Elizabeth from the View, I'm not a fan either, but she actually was very (surprisingly) gracious about Obama winning. Here's the video:

Anonymous - Thanks for sharing the video. I was wondering how she had reacted the day after. I am really (pleasantly) surprised!
