No Excuses Genes

With the most common causes for my miscarriages having already been ruled out through recent tests, my doctor suggested that Max and I go in for a basic genetics test, one final hurdle before being given the all clear to try and have a baby again. Turns out, we both have pretty good genes.

Let the baby making begin? Not so fast. I want to take some time to settle in and enjoy a summer in Barcelona. I realize as a 41-year old, time isn't exactly on my side. But, I can't help but feel if waiting 6 more months is going to make it or break it for my fertility chances, then it wasn't meant to be. I need a little more time and distance.

Still, it feels good to know when I'm ready, I should be able because my chromosomes are fine, thank you very much

That's right, take your time. Enjoy your time with hubby and the new city, then when the time is right, the time will be right. In the meantime, have a drink on me!

K was 42 when the little-red-haired girl was born. Two miscarriages before, one after... I really hope you guys have the luck we had.

Those are so pretty. They should make genes jewelry.
