Read the fine print
This flyer was being passed out at the local farmers' market in Ramstein village. I found the clarification at the very bottom forthright and unique. What do you think? Have you ever seen this before?

I 'think' that it is a nightmare to advertise as a 'real' massage therapist!
Kinda like - damned if you do, damned if you don't...
....the more he denies having an affair, the more guilty he looks...
ps Double Dare you to go and check it out!! - report back...
This reminds me of these two things:
An article written by a friend of a friend about "happy ending" massages:
http://www.tangomag.com/20085830/the-female-happy-ending-massage.html/1
One of our fellow bloggers on people thinking she's a prostitute (it does involve massage parlors):

There is a US air base in Ramsein. I wonder if that had anything to with the clarification?
Ms. Chica--it probably had much to do with the flyer being in English!
Diane, I totally have to agree with headbang8. Why do you think it was written in English?
I have lived all over Germany and the world where american bases excisted..
that was very common practice.......
greetings from a German living in Texas now.
And I have to admit that I am homesick many times..it is just the other way around, I am a German living in the USA..
I very much enjoy your blog,
because I can relate to everything.
Susanne
eek.
i live in a land where workers are imported...and if they ever lose their jobs and need to find work pronto...
eek.
I wish I could find somebody to do a real Thai massage here in Basel. I had a couple of massages when I was in Bangkok and they were GREAT!! I had them at our hotel, so they were totally legit (no erotic or sexual offers!). The women who performed the massages were about half my size, but BOY could they work me into a pretzel!
I've also seen this! A Thai salon/massage parlor advertises themself the same way in my in-law's Dutch hometown. However, the advertisement is completely in Dutch, including the "no erotic/sexual" excerpt.
Funny you share it because I once upon a time planned to share my find on my blog. I removed all files from my laptop this weekend, or I would share now the scan I made of this. When I get ahold of my husband's portable hard drive where I've stored it, I'll share it ;-)
Haven't seen that... but I totally understand WHY... keeps the guys from asking right?!
It saves them a lot of time explaining later! LOL
I guess if I ever need a massage, I better check out the place EXTRA carefully!!!! :)
I wouldn't want my whining about my sore back to be misinterpreted!
Well, most of the time that I am handed fliers, it's in Las Vegas...so usually they say the opposite ;).
I totally understand this because I really want to get a massage... but I am a little afraid that the places where the massages are offered are really brothels. So I would very much like such a clarification. And here in Berlin, most adverts are in English or German/English. If someone gave me that and it were convenient in location, I would feel much better about going.
